29th April 2016 – 30th December 2017 | Anchers Hus
While photographic images were sometimes used as models for the Skagen painters’ works, photography was also used to document private moments of domestic life as this exhibition of reproductons of the family’s photos shows.
In addition to the photographs from museums’ own archives, the exhibition also features images from The Royal Library and Nordjyllands Kystmuseum.
The exhibition of photographs is on display in the historic cottage Saxilds Gaard next to Anchers Hus and is free of charge to visit.
